Ventura Sportfishing is one of California's premier fishing destinations, owned and operated by Captain Tucker McCombs. Starting as a teenage deckhand and working his way up to become one of the state's most respected captains, Tucker has built a reputation for producing exceptional fishing trips and consistently leading Ventura County in White Seabass catches aboard the Endeavor.
In 2020, Tucker purchased Ventura Sportfishing from Greg and Teresa Ewart, becoming one of the few captains who owns both a successful sportfishing operation and the landing from which he runs it. Today, Ventura Sportfishing features a fleet that includes the Endeavor, Island Spirit, Californian, and Pacific Eagle, offering anglers access to some of the finest fishing opportunities on the West Coast. Whether you're targeting White Seabass, yellowtail, tuna, rockfish, or halibut, Ventura Sportfishing delivers unforgettable experiences backed by decades of local knowledge and proven success on the water.
