Cody checking in from the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Fun day of fishing with a really great group of people. We had beautiful weather, and spent the day fishing no deeper than 240 feet and finished the day at 150 feet of water. We kept it nice and shallow. Our fish count for today for 43 anglers was 139 rockfish, 98 whitefish, 6 sculpin, 1 sheephead, and 1 lingcod. Cody has the latest fish report for you below.

Cody checking in from the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Pretty nice day out on the water. A little bit tougher on the side of fishing, but quality fish nonetheless. Kept it pretty shallow today and got a little mix of bottom grabbers. Our 21 passengers caught 74 whitefish, 52 rockfish, a couple lingcod, 1 sand bass, and 1 sculpin. Cody checked in for the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Good day of fishing for our group. It took a bit to get what we caught. It was a pretty rough start to the morning, but conditions mellowed out and they were able to catch some fish. Everybody had a good time and everybody is going home with fish. Our 41 anglers caught 142 rockfish, 13 whitefish, 4 sheephead, 2 rock soles, 2 sand bass, and 1 calico bass. Cody has the current fish report for you below.

Cody checked in for the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Absolutely beautiful day on the water. Fun day fishing in the shallow water with our group. We had steady action fishing for whitefish, sheephead, perch, all that good stuff. Our 34 passengers ended up with 273 whitefish, 1 halibut, 12 perch, 4 sheephead a sculpin, and a rock sole. Our passengers ended up with limits of whitefish, a few sheephead. In the afternoon we tried some halibut drifts with the little time we had there and caught one short. We had a fun day overall.
